[I do apologize to my family and friends (who quite possibly are the only ones who read this) for constantly inundating you with photos from our wedding. I love them so much and, let's face it, this is only happening once so I'm going to take advantage of it! :) ]
These photos were taken the morning (well, noon) of our wedding. We had all of our wedding party meet us at the Barn where our reception would be held. We thought the barn would be an ideal place to get the photos taken because of the beautiful surrounding area, and wonderful color of the barn.
We decided to do a "first look" for our wedding instead of waiting to see each other for the first time when I walked down the aisle. The advantages of this were multiple for us; 1- Zach and I bot have a little bit of anxiety issues so the idea of waiting and building up to this huge moment when we first see each other was a little much. 2- if we did a first look we would be able to have all of the bridal party and family photos done before the ceremony instead of asking our guests to wait an hour or so while we did that before we showed up at the reception. 3- It gave us some time to ourselves before everyone was around. We were able to stop and connect, and think about what the day was about.
Zach was led backwards to where I was standing (I was facing the opposite direction) so we wouldn't see each other. This series of photos was taken as we caught our first glimpses of each other.
Thanks again to our photographer, Angela Cox!
These are beautiful, as are you!
